Youth Spiritual Education

Myrtle Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity spiritual movement, believed the purpose of the Unity youth program was not to “entertain the children, but instead, to draw them out,” to assist and support young people through spiritual foundation and development. The Youth Ministry team at West Sound Unity is dedicated to creating a safe, open environment where age-appropriate curriculum and activities open the door to experiencing the light and love of God within.

Infants and toddlers receive caring, nurturing attention in a safe environment so parents can confidently enjoy the Sunday service celebration. Our grade school and teen programs provide spiritual guidance and self-exploration in a safe, friendly atmosphere. All programs are grounded in Unity's basic teachings and universal spiritual principles.

Five Basic Unity Principles:

• God is all good and active in everything, everywhere.
• I am naturally good because God's Divinity is in me and in everyone.
• I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I feel and believe.
• Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.
• I do and give my best by living the Truth that I know. I make a difference!
