About Unity:

Unity is a positive, practical and progressive approach to Christianity based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of prayer.  Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual's right to choose a spiritual path.

How is Unity Christian?

We believe that as Jesus expressed his divine nature, he was showing us how to express ours.  His central message is that there is divine potential in us all.  Living from that place of deeper awareness of the Christ within tranforms our lives and the world through the power of Love.

What Does Unity Teach?

We continually explore the big "metaphysical questions" that revolve around our life's meaning and purpose.  The Bible, while not a literal guide, is considered our main textbook.  It offers a divinely inspired lens through which we gain greater understanding of who we are and find inspritaion for daily living.

What is Your Spirital Path Through Unity?

We grow through learning to take personal responsibility for the thoughts, actions and choices we make moment-to-moment.  Our goal is to live from our divine center in every situtation.  We achieve this through disciplined spiritual practice:

• Choosing life-affirming thoughts, words and actions as the keys to manifesting the good that God intends for us all.
• Expressing gratitude in both giving and receiving freely of God's good.
• Forgiving ourselves and others when we fall short of our Divine potential.
• Sustaining our spiritual community through service work and financial support.
